Apple has announced a new streaming fitness subscription service, Apple Fitness +. The new service promises new workouts every week, no matter your location or fitness preferences. They’ll have workouts available for yoga, cycling, strength training, HIIT, and dancing, with top rated fitness instructors!
Apple is using a nice catch-phrase to showcase how easy it’ll be to navigate the programs:
– Workout
– Trainer
– Time
– Music
First, you choose what type of workout you want to do from the Apple Fitness + catalog! Next you’ll choose the trainer desired for that specific workout. Then, you’d choose how long of a workout you’ll want during this session. Lastly, make your musical selection.
The service can be played on your Apple devices like the iPhone, iPad, and AppleTV. A seamless integration with the Apple Watch will provide real time caloric, heart rate, and various other metrics that can sync to a fitness app and display on the device playing the workout. With the Apple Watch, you’ll also be able to see clearly see highlighted metrics based on instructions from your virtual fitness coach.
Due to the quarantine situation in 2020, and gyms closing, Apple has clearly seen the new potential of the home fitness trend. They didn’t leave the gym-rats out though! There are also plans available for those who choose to take their workouts to another location, like a gym.
I think I’m most excited about the music that the workouts can be viewed with! Since the service will work in conjunction with Apple Music, popular songs can be used without fear of copyright infringement.
Alternatively, you can sign up for Apple’s new Apple One service which bundles multiple Apple products together for one low monthly price. For $29.99/month, the Apple One Premiere+ package would give you access to:
- Apple Music+
- AppleTV
- Apple Arcade
- 2Tb of iCloud storage
- Apple News+
- and Apple Fitness+
It automatically comes with a 30 day trial for any products you don’t currently own. Don’t like it? No problem. Cancel! You can’t lose on a great deal either way!
Will you be giving Apple Fitness + a try when it’s released? Will you try it out with the new AppleOne offering?
LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS!
