In my brain, I’ve still been working out either before work, after work, or both. Why haven’t I been taking the opportunity to perhaps use my lunchtime to get a workout in??
Instead of my usual timing, I changed into my workout clothes and did a quick 20 minute HIIT session at lunchtime.
I then cooled down, ate some lunch, freshened up and was back at my desk for my afternoon video meetings. I instantly felt the endorphins helping me get through the second half of the work day.
With so many changes happening around us these days, it’s always a great to step outside your box and see things a bit differently. I may not be able to get in a lunch session every day (You actually shouldn’t do HIIT sessions back to back. Always space them out a day in between! ), but what a great jolt this change in pace gave me.
