Marcy utility bench with leg extension

$186

This bench is a very cool dynamic duo. For the price, it’s sturdy enough, but could be a little too wobbly for some. The leg extension accommodates both standard and Olympic weights. The hamstring curl takes a bit more positioning but works wonderfully for me. Comes in a lot of parts, needs a good amount of tools, and takes an hour or two to put together.

KingKang Multifunctional Bench

$198

My newer bench is a Multi-functional Bench. You can do Sit-ups, Leg Lifts, Preacher curls, and so much more. It also comes with resistance bands that can be attached to the front or back of the bench. It’s not as sturdy as my Marcy bench, so I don’t use it for my leg curls or hamstring curls.

Landmine / T-Bar Row Attachment

$22

A great tool for your t-bar rows and landmine exercises. I weigh mine down with a snake sandbag filled with rice!

Vanktion 2 Pairs Toeless Yoga Socks Non-Slip Grip

$10

Great for any situation where you need a non-slip grip on your feet. Can be used during yoga, pilates, cardio, etc.

Ozaiic Yoga Socks with Grips, Non-Slip Five Toe Socks

$15

Great for any situation where you need a non-slip grip on your feet. Can be used during yoga, pilates, cardio, etc.

$41

I love that these bands are stackable. The colored sizes are Black (30 lbs.), Blue(25 lbs.), Red (20 lbs.), Green(15 lbs.) and Yellow (10 lbs.). I’ve used them for bicep, tricep, shoulder, & leg exercises to substitute for a cable machine. The door anchor works wonderfully for me.

$21

Don’t spend an arm & a leg ($100+) on “conventional” weight plate racks. I had an extra pot/pan/lid rack laying around the house & tried it out with my weight plates; It worked perfectly! Since they’re adjustable, it can fit both the thick & thin plates, both standard & olympic plates.

AXLE Olympic Barbell | Fully Collapsible Home Gym Equipment

$158

Purchased in 2020 during the coronavirus stay at home order. Check out my initial review on this product and exercises.

Champion Barbell
E-Z Curl Bar, Chrome
(47 x 1-inch)

$20

Great addition to any home gym!

The Step Original Aerobic Platform – Health Club Size

$64

If you love step classes at the gym, you should definitely try them at home. I’ve had mine since 2017 and it delivers an amazing cardio workout. Check out one of my YouTube step videos. Can also be used as a lifting bench. Additional normal and slanted/incline risers can be purchased separately.

Yaheetech 2pcs Adjustable Squat Rack / Bench Press / Barbell Stand

$200

A fun addition added to our home gym due to the coronavirus stay-at-home order. This contraption came in A LOT of pieces, so have patience with this one. Once put together though, it’ll be a real gem. Not super heavy and very transportable; I put it outside the door when I need more room in our small fitness area. Feels so great to be able to do squats, bench press and shoulder raises again. Check out my YouTube video to see this product in action.

The Step Original Aerobic Risers

$18

If additional height is needed during your step workout, these risers work great with the stepper listed above.

The Step Freestyle Aerobic Risers

$33

If you’re looking to use your stepper as a bench, buy these slanted risers to turn your step into an incline bench!

$239

Purchased in 2010. I am STILL using these dumbbells! An essential investment for your home gym, no matter the size!

$130

Great addition to my apartment! See my review of this product on my YouTube page, now that I’ve broken it in! 🙂

$25

If you can’t invest in the Bowflex SelectTech‘s yet, then you can use these in the interim! 😉

Scosche RHYTHM+
Heart Rate Monitor

$79.95

I’ve had this heart rate monitor since 2017 and it still works wonderfully. I love not having to wear an annoying strap around my body! The original unit comes with a few straps in a few sizes, which is nice!

Scosche Rhythm+
Replacement Straps

$12.95

Unfortunately, the velcro on the band/straps goes bad after a while. I’m guessing it’s because I wash them. I’ve purchased replacement bands once in three years, since the original unit comes with a few straps!

Polar FT4 Heart Rate Monitor (Purple/Pink)

$60

Purchased in 2015. Take your workout to the next level by tracking your success.

Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar

$40

Great for pullups and pushups.

Perform Better Exercise Superband

$18

Perfect to assist with your pullups! I purchased sizes: 2.5 inches, 1 3/4 inches, and a 1 inch band.

Foam Roller, LuxFit Premium High Density

$9

Essential for recovery.

$11

I use lacrosse balls to roll out my feet for tension therapy. A must for everyone. Can alleviate many knee and leg pains via the pressure points on your feet.

$41

A great chest strap to use with any of your smart watches.

Arkon Sports Running Jogging Neoprene Armband

$20

Great for keeping your phone close to you while exercising.

Tanita BF679W DuoScale Body Fat Monitor

$42

Invest in a good digital scale. The Tanita with Body Fat% calculator literally told me the same exact weight the same day I went and got on the doctors scale: true test of a great scale.

Acuvar 50″ Inch Aluminum Camera Tripod

$14

If there isn’t a picture or video, then your workout never happened 😉 . This is a great tripod for social media posts.
