Amazon purchased Whole Foods for 13 billion dollars! Combine an already massively popular e-commerce website with a nationwide popular grocery brick & mortar & you get an amazing combination! Sometimes delivery of items just isn’t the best option. When dealing with food, there’s a time stamp on perishable items that you MUST meet. Having a physical location could solve this issue for Amazon.

At this point, we aren’t sure of their game plan, but they possibly may be doing what ShopRite from Home does; Order online & Pickup in store. This could be an epic advantage to drive business to Amazon.com’s website as users would be visiting it daily & weekly instead of just monthly or bi-monthly.

This could also possibly take views away from Google.com; Why do a generic search for an item when it may already me monopolized on Amazon’s website. It could be your one stop shop!

We’ll see what happens & how Amazon handles acquiring this amazing opportunity to change the game!

Pinky: Gee, Brain. What are we going to do tonight?

The Brain: The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world.”
